BetterLoop helps users track habits, daily repetition goals, reminders, and quick logs. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Information We Collect
BetterLoop may store information you enter in the app, including habit names, daily goals, minimum repetitions, quick add amounts, reminders, ringtone choices, and habit completion history.
This information is used to show your progress, calculate today's goal, trigger reminders, and display charts inside the app.
Local App Data
Your habit data is stored locally on your device unless a feature explicitly requires external processing. BetterLoop does not sell your habit data.
Analytics
BetterLoop may use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage, such as screens opened, habits created, quick logs recorded, notification interactions, language changes, and analytics consent choices.
Analytics collection is optional. The app asks for your consent, and you can accept or decline. You can also change your analytics preference from inside the app.
Notifications
BetterLoop uses notifications to remind you about habits and let you quickly log progress. Notification scheduling may use the reminder times and habit information you configure.
Permissions
Depending on your Android version and settings, BetterLoop may request permissions needed for notifications and exact alarms. These permissions are used only to deliver habit reminders and related app functionality.
Data Sharing
BetterLoop does not sell personal information. If analytics is enabled, Firebase/Google may process analytics events according to their own terms and policies.
Your Choices
- You can edit or delete habits in the app.
- You can change notification settings in the app and Android system settings.
- You can accept or decline analytics collection, and change that choice later from inside the app.
- You can clear app data from Android settings if you want to remove locally stored app data from your device.
Children's Privacy
BetterLoop is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
